About the Program
The Georgetown in Madrid
program is based at two of Madrid’s most prominent universities: the Universidad Complutense de Madrid
(UCM) and the Universidad Pontificia Comillas
(Comillas). Each cohort of GU in Madrid students is lead by Ana Flys, who has served as the Resident Director of the GU in Madrid program for over 25 years.
GU in Madrid is a high-support program, meaning there are a number of program features designed to enhance your learning, both in and outside of the classroom. From cultural activities and overnight excursions, to language and academic support services, you have a wealth of resources at your disposal.
Comillas’ main campus is located in Moncloa, a neighborhood just outside of Madrid’s city center. The Moncloa campus is home to Comillas’ Economics, Business, and Engineering departments. The Cantoblanco campus, located in a northern suburb 45 minutes outside of the city center, offers courses in the humanities and social sciences. GU in Madrid students may take classes at both campuses.
